Ubisoft sues disc production company
- There was a leak of Assassin's Creed six weeks before its release. An employee in the OEM disc company was found to have uploaded the pirated copy and Ubisoft is suing $10 million out of the company for copyright infringement, breach of contract, and negligence. Read more

Rock Band 2 official
- Harmonix announces Rock Band 2, coming this September as a timed exclusive game for the XBox 360. Details are scarce, but one thing is for certain, downloadable content will be forward and backward compatible, and the controllers will also be backward compatible. Read more
Crysis Warhead
- EA and Crytek is releasing a new game in the Crysis series called Crisis Warhead. The trailer debuted on gametrailers today and it looks very similar to Crysis. Read more
SCEE announces DualShock 3 for July 4th

- Today it was shown that marketing research firm Intellisponse has, through failure to properly secure info in their possession, leaked a lot of Microsoft and Activision gaming-related information. Itagaki sues Tecmo
- Itagaki is leaving and suing the company for unpaid bonuses. Yesterday at 2:30 PM Itagaki left the company. On May 14 he filed a lawsuit with the Tokyo District Court against Tecmo for unpaid bonuses and slander. Tecmo responded today with a statement saying that the bonuses was never agreed upon and that the slander was Itagaki's own distortions. Read more
