A video game company based out of Edmonton, Alberta in Canada. Bioware Corp. is best known for creating RPGs for the PC. They were founded in 1995. They have developed many major titles such as Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Jade Empire.
They have also developed two engines for RPG creation: The Infinity Engine for 2D games and the Aurora Engine for 3D games.
